The 1950's and Early 60's School Logo.
This is the origional School Logo (Grammer School) as the letters CGS Can be distinguished starting Top left to bottom right the Symbols porteyed are the Cross of which was standard on many school logo's and indeed fitted in with Mr Summers Ideology of a old fashioned way of teaching (even then). Next to this is the Obvious Cockrell which is the key to many of the later logos and is the Translation of some of Croesyceiliog into english Cockrell.
A Blackbird is Featured Bottom Left and is quite humble compared to the Cock which is fully Erect (no pun intended) this bird has one foot in the air possibly to fit the whole symbol into the Logo, on the Other side is most likely an Olive Branch which is another religious symbol.

The mid 1970's to early 1980's School Logo
This is the Later School Logo after the Grammer and Secondry Modern Schools conjoin, which meant that a new logo hadto be drawn up this picture kees the 2 line cross and the Cock which is still erect and perhaps just a bigger and braver version of the above top right. The Script underneath the logo is actually much better presented and is perhaps used to compensate for the loss of nobility presented in the earlier logo.
The Late 1980's to the early 1990's School Logo
This is Mr Pugh's adaption of the School Logo and makes the school logo more in with the times of the roaring 80's and defeats the old boastfull cock with a newer funkier version.
The 1990's and 00's School Logo
Mrs Mansfeilds version of the School Logo Kept the Cock and the double line cross (morphed into a cross) and kept the colours of the above to some effect she changed the Cocks blue to represent the River Afon Llwyd and changed the Sheild Gold to represent the proud nobility of the schools past, the Cocks are now stood facing each other representing equility and the much earlier conjunction of the schools.
The 10's +
This is the new School Logo, as the letters CS Can be distinguished meaning Croesyceiliog School starting Top left to bottom right the Symbols porteyed are the Cross of which is out of the ordinary in todays fairness and equility of religion, . Next to this is the Obvious Cockrell which apears to be the 1980's proud model of the Cock which was about as Boastfull.
A Blackbird is Featured Bottom Left and is vicious (on a landing manoover for prey) its neck and feet form a C shape whether this is clever drawing or indeed a coincidence it does relate the Diagram to the School. The Right of this is a Oak Leaf and Acorn This is representive of the old saying from one acorn spreads the tree and is both representive of children in the form of the acorn and as a sturdy and noble symbol.
The colours are the same as those introduced by Mrs. Mansfeild
